2 years agoThe New York Yankees checked in at some point on San Francisco Giants left-hander Carlos Rodon, but it seems like a long shot. Rodon is clearly available at Tuesday's trade deadline, and he's also been linked to the Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins. The Giants got off to a rough start to open the second half of the season, but it will be interesting to see if they classify themselves as buyers or sellers at Tuesday's deadline. Rodon spun seven scoreless innings while striking out 10 Chicago Cubs hitters in his last outing on Sunday night, and he earned his second straight All-Star nod this year. He's currently 9-6 with a 3.00 ERA, a 1.07 WHIP and a 158:39 K:BB in 123 innings over 21 innings pitched.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
