4 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Delino DeShields could possibly be on the move here soon. It appears that the New York Yankees are showing interest in the 29-year-old speedy outfielder. This trade would make sense on paper as the Yankees are shorthanded in the outfield due to injuries. Texas has not been using DeShields, despite him absolutely crushing the ball in the minors. He's posting a .412/.500/.706 batting line in 40 plate appearances with Triple-A Round Rock this season. It's unlikely that the Rangers get much back in return here. Although, DeShields might be able to hold fantasy value in the short term, assuming he gets consistent playing time in New York.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
