4 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman and outfielder Miguel Andujar was optioned to the team’s alternate site on Thursday. Andujar got into three games since his most recent call-up before being sent back down, and it appears as though the Yankees want to load up on relievers given their impressive offensive depth and Zach Britton’s (leg) move to the IL. Andujar’s demotion gives outfielders Clint Frazier and Mike Tauchman an even better chances of consistent playing time (in case Frazier’s 1.173 OPS wasn’t enough) for the rest of the season, boosting their fantasy values slightly.--Sam Chinitz
