3 years agoNew York Yankees infielder Thairo Estrada was optioned to the minor leagues after losing a roster battle with infielder Tyler Wade this spring. Estrada is buried behind several capable players on the team's depth chart, and it's unlikely that he receives much meaningful playing time as a result. Still, Estrada offers decent contact skills and above-average speed, making him potentially useful in very deep leagues if he finds his way into playing time.--Sam Chinitz
