2 years agoAccording to a tweet from the New York Post's Jon Heyman, the New York Yankees are reportedly "in on Frankie Montas as well as Luis Castillo (and others)." Montas is enjoying another strong season for the Oakland Athletics, pitching to a 3.18 ERA and a 3.36 FIP in 104.2 innings. He's also struck out 109 batters while allowing just 28 walks. Castillo, meanwhile, owns a 2.77 ERA and a 3.04 FIP in 78 innings for the Cincinnati Reds, logging 82 strikeouts and 27 walks in the process.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
