4 years agoTexas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor was traded to the New York Yankees on Tuesday. It's unknown what the Rangers received in return. Once considered a building block for the Rangers, Odor's poor performance led to him falling out of favor in Texas, and he failed to make the team's Opening Day roster this year. A change of scenery could help unlock Odor's potential, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect Odor to see much consistent playing time in New York, limiting his potential fantasy value. It's not clear how the Yankees plan to use Odor or what the team sent over in return, but his addition may threaten Tyler Wade's roster spot.--Sam Chinitz
