3 years agoNew York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman confirmed that the team will make an extension offer to outfielder Aaron Judge before Opening Day, and he would not say if it has already happened. MLB Network's Jon Heyman is reporting that the Yankees are expected to make their first big offer to Judge by this weekend. Numbers aren't known, but he figures to have a chance to secure the fifth-highest deal among outfielders behind Mike Trout, Mookie Betts, Bryce Harper and teammate Giancarlo Stanton. Judge said earlier this offseason that this year could be his last in pinstripes if he's not signed to an extension before Opening Day. The 29-year-old remains an elite source of power in fantasy after crushing 158 home runs in the last six seasons in the Bronx.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
