Yasiel Puig Stays Hot On Wednesday
5 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Yasiel Puig stayed hot at the plate on Wednesday, going 2-for-3 with a homer, two runs, and two RBI in a 3-0 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. Puig has been seeing the ball extremely well at the plate of late, hitting .320 with six homers and 11 RBI over his past 15 games. The hot streak has raised his average to .247 with 19 home runs, 39 runs, 48 RBI, and 13 steals. Puig disappointed fantasy owners through the first two months of the season but is flashing the power/speed upside that made him a popular choice in drafts this spring. He should be locked into starting lineups while he is on this hot streak.
