4 years agoChicago White Sox catcher Yasmani Grandal is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners. Grandal has appeared in four of his team's five games in 2021, so the team decided to give him a breather for the first contest of their series against Seattle. The veteran backstop had a big day at the plate on Monday, with a home run and three RBI. He'll cede the catching duties to Zack Collins, with Yermin Mercedes serving as the designated hitter.--Tim Capurso
