3 years agoChicago White Sox catcher Yasmani Grandal returned with a hot bat on Friday versus the Chicago Cubs. The veteran was activated earlier in the day and went 4-for-6 with two home runs and eight RBI on the evening. Grandal struggled offensively in the first half, but was able to provide power numbers to managers and that continued on Friday. The veteran will be the White Sox starting catcher moving forward and is now hitting .203 with 16 home runs and 46 RBI. As long as managers could deal with the poor batting average, he can be rostered in most formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
