3 years agoChicago White Sox catcher Yasmani Grandal came up big as a pinch-hitter on Tuesday versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Grandal pinch-hit for Zack Collins in the top of the seventh inning and took Tyler Anderson yard for a three-run home run. The home run gave the White Sox a 3-2 lead at the time, but it wouldn't be enough to hold off the Pirates. Grandal hasn't hit much this season, but it's been mostly home runs when he has. The veteran finished the game 1-for-2 and is now hitting .170 with 11 home runs and 27 RBI and is worth holding onto with his good power numbers.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
