4 years agoChicago White Sox designated hitter Yermin Mercedes continued his impressive season in Monday's victory versus the Minnesota Twins. Mercedes went 3-for-6 on the evening with two runs and three RBI. Mercedes has been arguably the best waiver wire pickup on the season and won't stop hitting. He has always been a contact hitter in his professional career, and that has translated to a .364 batting average this season. He has also hit six home runs and driven in 25 runs. Mercedes will eventually regress, but he has proven himself to be an important asset in all fantasy formats.
