2 years agoToronto Blue Jays pitcher Yimi Garcia (side) wasn't available for Wednesday's game against the Chicago White Sox due to left-side discomfort. He will be re-evaluated over the weekend. The 31-year-old allowed two hits while striking out one across a scoreless inning in Tuesday's win over the White Sox. He started dealing with side discomfort after Tuesday's outing and is considered day-to-day. Garcia owns a 3.42 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, and 26 strikeouts over 26 1/3 innings in 2022. The Blue Jays right-hander is 0-for-3 in save opportunities but has racked up 12 holds over 28 games.
