4 years agoMiami Marlins closer Yimi Garcia picked up a save against his former team in Sunday's 3-2 win. It was his seventh save of the season on eight tries and lowered his ERA to 1.65. Garcia pitched a scoreless ninth inning, allowing one hit and recording one strikeout. There are still some very concerning aspects to a deeper analytic look at Garcia's numbers, but up until now at least, he's done an excellent job in the closer's role and will continue to get all of the save chances for the Marlins.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
