3 years agoMiami Marlins relief pitcher Yimi Garcia was traded to the Houston Astros on Wednesday, MLB Network insider Jon Heyman reported. The 30-year-old right-hander has pitched to a 3.47 ERA with 35 strikeouts over 36 1/3 innings and had recorded 15 saves so far this season for Miami. While Garcia's ERA has gone up since the start of the season, he remains solid and can benefit from pitching for a contender like the Astros. The Marlins received Triple-A outfielder Bryan De La Cruz in the trade.--Chelena Goldman
