4 years agoChicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada went 3-for-4 with a walk, three RBI and a solo home run in Friday's victory versus the Texas Rangers. Moncada got off to a slow start this season, but has been starting to heat up over the past week. Moncada has now recorded eight hits over his last 25 at-bats with one home run and a nine RBI. The third baseman has always had bad plate discipline, but with the way he his hitting of late, it is hard to argue with his performance. Moncada is now hitting .234 with two home runs and 11 RBI. Moncada hasn't been a threat on the base paths the past two seasons, but he is capable of providing managers with good power numbers at the hot corner. Moncada will look to continue his hot streak with a matchup versus Kyle Gibson on Saturday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
