3 years agoChicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada isn't starting on Thursday. The White Sox will take on the Los Angeles Angels and right-hander Alex Cobb but will do so with one of their best hitters in Moncada on the bench. The 26-year-old is batting .269 with a .380 on-base percentage, 12 home runs, and three stolen bases in 552 plate appearances this season. Romy Gonzalez will move into the lineup at third base and hit seventh on Thursday. Gonzalez has three hits so far in 16 plate appearances for the White Sox this season.
