Yoan Moncada Out Again Versus Rangers

2 years agoChicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada is not in the starting lineup on Sunday against the Texas Rangers. It will be the third time that Moncada will ride the pine in the team's last seven games. The 27-year-old has battled injuries this year and is struggling to the tune of a .133/.179/.211 slash line with only two home runs, six RBI and five runs scored in 90 at-bats over 24 games. Moncada has seen his fantasy stock tumble dramatically this year, and he could continue to lose playing time at the hot corner as long as Jake Burger produces. Burger is at third again on Sunday and is hitting fifth against Rangers right-hander Jon Gray. Burger is hitting .280/.326/.528 with eight home runs, 22 RBI and 18 runs scored in 36 games in his second big-league season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
