5 years agoChicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada is sitting on Tuesday. He exited Monday nights game with upper back tightness and did not return. The injury was noted by sources as a day-to-day injury and a short-term absence is possible. J.D. Martinez has also missed multiple games in a row with the same issue but Moncada's seriousness is unknown at this time. Jose Rondon will man third in his place. It would be wise for Moncada owners to have a backup on hand if he ends up on the injured list, as the White Sox may not want to risk further injury to their young star.--Zach Alexander
