6 years agoChicago White Sox infielder Yoan Moncada has been scratched from Sunday's lineup with what manager Rick Renteria is calling "leg soreness." The injury doesn't appear to be serious, and the club is likely taking a precautionary measure with their young star bat. Moncada is amidst a breakout year after much-awaited anticipation. He's batting .283 with 10 homers, 35 RBI, and five steals as he's cut down on the swings-and-misses this season. Moncada is in the middle of a five-game hit streak as well showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Look for him to return to the lineup when the Pale Hose travel to D.C for a two-game set versus the Nationals starting Tuesday.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
