5 years agoChicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada (hamstring) will bat fourth against right-hander Ariel Jurado and the Rangers in his return from the 10-day injured list. The 24-year-old has been sidelined since July 30 with a hamstring injury that sent him to the IL. Moncada hit .409 in five games during his rehab assignment and recorded totals of 20 home runs, 59 RBI, 58 runs scored, seven stolen bases, a .301 batting average and .893 OPS through 97 games. Moncada has cut down his strikeout total significantly in 2019, playing a huge factor in his breakout season with career-highs across every statistical category.
