4 years agoChicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada had a nightmare of a night on Friday versus the Los Angeles Angels. Moncada finished 0-for-5 with five strikeouts on the evening and now has six strikeouts over his first two games. Moncada is coming off of a tough season and plate discipline has always been his weakness, but he has too much talent for managers to be worried so early in the season. Moncada remains a very talented member in the middle of an explosive White Sox lineup and should play a key role for them throughout the season. Managers should remain patient with Moncada and chalk up Friday's performance as just a rough night in the batter's box.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
