Yoenis Cespedes Expected To Resume Rehab Monday
6 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes is expected to resume his rehab on Monday with Double-A Binghamton, according to manager Mickey Callaway. Prior to his setback last week, Cespedes had played two rehab games with Binghamton but has not restarted any baseball activities since. Cespedes has been out since May 14 due to a mild strain of his right hip flexor, and injury he seems prone to suffering (along with quad injuries). Slashing .255/.316/.474 with eight home runs and 28 RBI in 37 games played this season, Yo would be a good bet to put up better numbers upon his return if he is truly healthy.
