4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes (heel, ankle) was named to the Mets 60-man player pool for 2020. Cespedes, coming off of heel and ankle injuries that have kept him sidelined since mid-July 2018, should be closer to game-ready than when we last saw him during spring training. Provided he is healthy, Cespedes could serve as the Mets’ regular DH. Of course, even if fully recovered, consistent playing time is not a given with Dominic Smith and J.D. Davis serving as potential options for the Mets at DH. That said, should Cespedes prove to be healthy once games begin in late July, he's certainly worth a roster spot in mixed and NL-only formats--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
