Yoenis Cespedes May Play On Monday
7 years agoWith the status of New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes (quadriceps) uncertain, it seems as though there’s at least a chance he’s playing in Monday’s series opener against the Cincinnati Reds. Cespedes left Sunday’s game against the Colorado Rockies due to a sore right quadriceps, but the team said it was for precautionary reasons. It doesn’t sound as if the injury is serious. Cespedes himself said it’s a much different injury than the previous ones that kept him out for long periods of time. Check back here for more updates on Cespedes. We should know pretty soon once lineups come out for the night.
