Yoenis Cespedes Starting Baseball Activities Thursday
6 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes (hip, quadriceps) started to take part in baseball activities on Thursday. This comes after he started running at the team’s spring training complex in Florida on Monday, so that must have gone off without a hitch. You can’t say that with respect to many things involving Cespedes this season, as he’s been on the shelf with various injuries multiple times with a few setbacks, but for now we have all the reason to believe he’s progressing well. Assuming he continues to feel healthy after starting baseball activities, Cespedes will likely make a few rehab starts prior to getting back to the big leagues. He should remain stashed in all formats.
