Yoenis Cespedes Undergoes X-Ray On Wrist
7 years agoUpdating an ongoing story, New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes was pulled from Tuesday’s lineup with a sore right wrist and is now undergoing X-rays to see if there’s an underlying cause. Cespedes already had the X-ray, but the results aren’t back as of yet. He said the soreness started occurring after taking a swing. For now, the team is listing Cespedes as day-to-day, but again, we don’t know what the X-ray may or may not show. Considering how it happened, one would like to think this won’t be anything serious, but it is the Mets, after all. Another injury for Cespedes would not be the ideal start for him in 2018 after his 2017 was limited to 81 games due to quadriceps and hamstring issues.
