Yonathan Daza Goes Deep In Sunday's Loss
4 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Yonathan Daza went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer in a 7-6 loss to the Brewers on Sunday. The Rockies were losing 6-0 heading into the bottom half of the sixth inning before Daza finally put Colorado on the board with a two-run dinger off of Eric Lauer. Trevor Story, C.J. Cron, and Josh Fuentes would also homer in the inning to tie up the ball game. The long ball was Daza's only hit of the day and his second homer of the season. The 27-year-old continues to make the most of his opportunity and is now slashing a rock-solid .328/.367/.419 with two home runs, 21 RBI, and a pair of stolen bases over 186 at-bats. He's an intriguing NL-only and deeper mixed league option.
