7 years agoCleveland Indians first baseman Yonder Alonso is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Detroit Tigers. With lefty Francisco Liriano on the mound for Detroit, Alonso will sit while Edwin Encarnacion takes a turn at first base, with Jason Kipnis in as designated hitter. Alonso is off to a slow start this season, but he should be back in the lineup Tuesday.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
