4 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez went 1-for-5 with one RBI in the Astros 8-4 win over the A's on Thursday. The base-knock extends the talented slugger's hitting streak to eight games and now is slashing an impressive .361/.378/.625 over his last 72 at-bats. Alvarez has now played 17 games in the month of May and has produced four doubles, five home runs, 11 runs batted in and 16 runs scored during that span. As long as the 23-year-old is healthy, he is as dangerous as they come at the plate.--Joey C - RotoBaller
