3 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez will head into the weekend slashing .333/.367/.596 over his last 15 games. Alvarez is posting an impressive .963 OPS in the month of August and the team will face Mariners left-handed starter Yusei Kikuchi Friday night. This may not seem like an ideal matchup for the left-handed hitting Alvarez but the talented slugger has fared very well against lefties. Through 142 at-bats, the 24-year-old is slashing .295/.355/.483 against left-handed pitching and is an excellent fantasy choice for run production this weekend.--Joey C - RotoBaller
