3 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez (illness) is hopeful that he can get back in the lineup for Monday's game. This is great news for fantasy managers who have been without Alvarez for the last week. The organization is hopeful that Alvarez can be activated in time for Monday's contest against the Los Angeles Angels. In the meantime, Michael Brantley will serve as the designated hitter and second bat versus righty Matt Brash.
