3 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez will head into Monday's matchup against the Royals swinging a hot bat at the plate. Alvarez is 5-for-9 over his last two games with three doubles and has tallied five doubles over his last six games. The sweet-swinging slugger now is slashing .356/.396/.689 over his last 12 games with nine extra-base hits and nine runs batted in.
