2 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Yordan Alvarez was removed from Friday's game against the Atlanta Braves with a suspected injury. Alvarez left in the middle of an Atlanta at-bat in the fifth inning and was replaced by Mauricio Dubon in the outfield. The 25-year-old Alvarez went 0-for-2 in the contest before his early departure. The Astros have yet to offer further information as to what is bothering Alvarez, but look for an update after Friday's game ends. Alvarez is hitting .295 with 31 homers, 76 runs, and 77 RBI in 2022.--Matt T - RotoBaller
