Yordan Alvarez Returns Against A's
2 years agoHouston Astros outfielder/designated hitter Yordan Alvarez (hand) is back in the starting lineup on Monday against right-hander Adam Oller and the Oakland Athletics, serving as the DH and hitting third in the batting order. Alvarez took a seat on Sunday due to a sore right hand, but he's back in there for fantasy managers in the series opener against Oakland. The 25-year-old left-handed slugger is a must-start when he's in the lineup, as he's hitting .307/.407/.668 with a 1.075 OPS, 28 home runs, 65 RBI and 61 runs scored in 277 at-bats in 2022. His .668 slugging percentage, 1.075 OPS and 200 OPS+ all lead the majors.
