3 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez has not gotten off to the start fantasy managers had hoped for in the 2022 season. The 24-year-old has just two hits in his first 17 plate appearances. Those hits were a double and a home run, and he has also walked three times, so fantasy managers just need to be patient with his average as the season gets underway. The Astros will start a two-game series on the road against the Diamondbacks Tuesday and are slated to face the top of their rotation in Madison Bumgarner and Merrill Kelly.
