3 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez is stuck in a 3-for-31 (.096) over his last eight games heading into Friday's action against the Rangers. Alvarez is slashing only .191/.255/.468 with four home runs but three of those long-balls came at the beginning of the month. Alvarez still needs to be started in standard formats as he works through some offensive issues but he may be a player to avoid in DFS until he can get back on track.--Joey C - RotoBaller
