4 years agoHouston Astros outfielder/designated hitter Yordan Alvarez is in the lineup for Saturday's game but is expected to get the day off on Sunday. The slugger was initially slated to start in left on Sunday, though he's been experiencing soreness in his legs and will get the day off, per manager Dusty Baker. Alvarez has been a beast at the plate this year, slashing .346/..375/.606 with seven homers and 22 RBI in 32 games. Michael Brantley, who is off Saturday, is expected to serve as the designated hitter Sunday.--Tim Capurso
