4 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez will return to the lineup on Friday night, according to Jake Kaplan of The Athletic. Alvarez was placed on the injured list Wednesday due to health and safety reasons, but he'll be back in action against the Rays after a short time away. Alvarez has been hot at the plate this year, slashing .309/.355/.529 with two home runs, 14 RBI and 10 runs scored in 18 games.
