4 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman Yoshitomo Tsutsugo (COVID-19 vaccine) has been placed on the COVID-19 injured list while dealing with side effects from receiving the vaccine, according to Adam Berry of MLB.com. In a corresponding move, the Rays have recalled relief pitcher Louis Head from the team's alternate site. Tsutsugo has gotten off to a slow start this year, but he has started to pick up the pace a bit recently with a hit in five of his last seven games.
