3 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Yu Darvish tossed 5 ⅓ innings of two-run ball Thursday against the New York Mets to collect his sixth win. Darvish carried a no-hitter into the fifth inning before faltering down the stretch, serving up a two-run homer in the sixth before being lifted after 90 pitches. He yielded four knocks and a walk while fanning five. The Friars ace continues his brilliant campaign, holding a 2.25 ERA, 0.93 WHIP with a 30 percent strikeout rate across 72 frames. Locked as an SP1/2, the right-hander will square off against his former club the Chicago Cubs next week.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
