6 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Yu Darvish pitched just four innings during Thursday’s win over the Marlins, allowing one run while striking out seven and walking six. It was another early departure for the 32-year-old, who continues to lead the league with 33 walks throughout his eight games of play for a total of 36 1/3 innings. Plagued with control issues, Darvish has pitched over 5 1/3 innings just once this season in addition to getting yanked after just four innings in each of his previous two outings. He will look to get it going when he takes the mound again next Wednesday when the Cubs travel to Cincinnati to take on the Reds.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
