3 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Yu Darvish improved to 6-3 in Monday's 4-1 win over the Cubs. Darvish tossed eight innings of one-run ball, allowing five hits (including a solo home run) and no walks with seven strikeouts. The strikeouts have been down overall for the 35-year-old with a 7.29 K/9 rate, but his overall performance has been strong with a 3.35 ERA. Darvish's next start will likely come in dangerous Coors Field, but the Rockies have been scuffling enough and Darvish has been pitching well enough to make him a decent start.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
