6 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel had another monster performance on Wednesday, going 2-for-4 with a franchise-tying eight runs batted in as the Astros destroyed the Rockies 14-3. Gurriel smoked his 23rd home run of the season over the fence and then cleared the bases with his 29th doubles of the season. Gurriel has played only five games in the month of August and already has 12 RBI. Over his last 29 games, the 35-year-old has nine doubles, 15 home runs and an astounding 43 runs batted in. He has gone from fringe fantasy asset to a player that could single-handedly win fantasy championships for owners this season. He is slugging .833 over his last 30 games and must be in all lineups as his torrid offense continues to dominate the opposition.--Joey C - RotoBaller
