6 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel is hitting .290 over his last eight games as the team prepares to take on the Mariners on Friday. The season is young, but Gurriel is already doing what he does best: rack up doubles. He already leads the team with five this season and has averaged 38 doubles over the last two seasons. Gurriel has never hit more than 20 home runs in a season but is a professional hitter in a very potent lineup. The 34-year-old would register higher in the fantasy ranks if he didn't play first base but is a useful asset in deeper leagues and AL-only formats.--Joey C - RotoBaller
