4 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel lacks fantasy value heading into Friday as the Astros travel to Texas to take on the Rangers. After a career season in 2019, Gurriel's numbers have nose-dived this season. After slashing .298/.343/.541 in 2019 with 31 home runs, 40 doubles and 104 runs batted in, the veteran is slashing only .235/.279/.395 this season. The struggles have been accentuated on the road, where the 36-year-old is posting a .594 OPS away from Minute Maid Park. After ascending to fantasy starter status last season, Gurriel is not an option in the final games of the regular season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
