6 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel doesn't usually grab the same amount of headlines as his teammates but has been an integral cog in a potent offense. Gurriel continues to put up consistent numbers and has been dynamite hitting with runners in scoring position. In 111 at-bats with RISP, Gurriel is hitting .405 with a .604 slugging percentage and 60 runs batted in this season. He currently is on pace for 45 extra-base hits and while he may not post elite fantasy numbers for his position, is still a capable offensive threat. Gurriel's value is best deployed in AL-only leagues and deeper formats.--Joey C - RotoBaller
