3 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel is not in the starting lineup on Sunday afternoon against the White Sox. This looks to just be a day off for Gurriel, who has appeared in 17 straight games for Houston. He's in the midst of a breakout season at the plate right now, as he's now slashing .316/.385/.515 with 10 home runs, 48 RBI and 34 runs scored over 64 games. Expect Gurriel to return on Monday, but in the meantime Taylor Jones will get the start at first and is batting seventh against Chicago.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
