4 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel is hitting sixth Thursday against the Rangers. After a fantastic month of August in which he slashed .305/.345/.558, those numbers have dipped to .189/.196/.283 over his last 15 games in September. Gurriel has really struggled against right-handed pitching this season, slugging only .352 with a .632 OPS against righties. Gurriel enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2019 but has returned to Earth this season. He currently is no more than a fringe fantasy asset heading into the final week of the regular season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
