6 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel is slashing .286/.333/.449 through 49 at-bats in September. Gurriel has had his at-bats trimmed a touch over the last month with the emergence of Tyler White. But Gurriel is still an integral part of the Astros offense and is hitting a sparkling .392 with runners in scoring position. Gurriel won't eclipse the 52 extra-base hits he put up in 2017 but is hitting .278 with one triple, 10 home runs and 31 doubles with 74 runs batted in this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
